About Suffolk Septic Pros
Suffolk Septic Pros helps Suffolk County homeowners take on one specific project: replacing an old cesspool or failing septic system with a modern, nitrogen-reducing system, and doing it with the county grant. We are a free matching service, and we are careful about what that means.
What we are
Suffolk Septic Pros is operated by Compass Camper LLC, doing business as Compass Lead Group. We are a referral and matching service. We are not a septic contractor. We do not design systems, dig, install, replace, pump, or inspect anything, and we are not on the county approved-installer list ourselves. What we do is connect you with an independent, licensed installer who is on that list and who works in your area.
Why matching matters here
Suffolk County runs the Septic Improvement Program to help pay for these upgrades, and New York State adds a reimbursement on top. There is a catch that trips up a lot of homeowners: only installers on the county approved-installer list can do grant-funded work. Pick the wrong contractor and the same system will not qualify. We exist to make that connection simple, so your project stays on the grant pathway. The full program is laid out in our grant guide.
How it works
You tell us your town, your current system, and what is driving the timing. We connect you with an independent, county-approved installer who can evaluate your site and give you a real quote. You decide whether to move forward. There is no fee to you and no obligation.
How we stay honest
We do not publish fake reviews, invented team bios, or claims about work we have not done, because we do not do the work. We do not promise grant approval, because the county decides awards. When we mention grant amounts, we date them and point you to the county to confirm. And we are upfront about the business model: the installer pays us a referral fee, never you.
